For a great day of shopping, locals can go to the adjacent neighborhood of Stanford for the Standford Shopping Center. Things to Do

Bedwell Bayfront Park is a good destination for enjoying the outdoors and getting some exercise. The park shares a space with the Don Edwards San Francisco National Wildlife Refugee. There are extensive trails throughout the park for walking, biking, and hiking. 

It would seem inappropriate to live close to some of the best wine growers in the world without sampling some of the wine and there are so many wonderful wineries to sample. Varner Wine is located in the heart of downtown. Partnered with Foxglove, Varner Wine aspires to bring the best local wine to the people of Menlo Park.

The Menlo Park Sidewalk Fine Arts Festival takes in bi-yearly in April and October. Over 100 local artists gather to sell paintings, sculptures, glass, ceramics, jewelry, and more. Tons of kids' activities are set up around the festival to help inspire the artists in children.
